There are a variety of parenting websites that cater specifically for Australian mothers. Each of the following offers free membership, a regular email newsletter and a range of information and services to suit Australian families.

Busy Mothers

The Busy Mothers website provides modern mothers with resources and information to help “make family time count”. There is advice on how to better organise home and family routines to enable parents and children to have relaxed family time together. The site is suitable for mothers of children of all ages and hosts a fun and supportive forum for members.

In addition to the Busy Mothers Companion, an organisational tool sold through the site, there are book reviews, recipes, downloadable children’s activities, recommended websites and information on parks and family-friendly places to visit. The site creators, Gillian Cornwell and Catherine Lockhart, have recently released a “Keep the Kids Busy” e-book, available through the website.
