Miranda Cosgrove is best known for her role as Megan Parker in the Drake and Josh show on Nickelodeon. On Nick, she plays the little sister to Drake Bell. She has also guest starred in shows such as Unfabulous, Zoey 101, and Grounded for Life. Miranda is now about to star in her own series on Nickelodeon, iCarly, where she will play, of course, Carly. The first episode will air September 8, 2007.

Friends Create Web Cast

iCarly is a show about two best friends, Carly and Sam (played by Jennette McCurdy) who develop their own web cast program on the Internet. They come up with the idea when Carly is asked by a teacher in her school to hold auditions for a school talent show. The girls get Carly's technically-inclined neighbor, Freddy (played by Nathan Kress) to tape the auditions. The auditions are accidentally posted to the web, and before they know it, viewers are wanting more of their hilarious antics and stunning talents to be broadcast. Carly and Sam shoot their web cast from Carly's third-floor loft studio. Who knows what we will see on their web casts in the future! For them anything goes, including comedy acts, recipes, and fascinating interviews.
